So, if you have any hints to give me on how to get materials on Swahili, please let me know... Comments: I am fascinated with wildlife and I am doing some writing for children around African animals in the Masai Mara (a place I want to visit). I am particularly interested in the inter-relationships and interconnectedness of the animals in (relatively) contained areas like the Mara, especially those that have a symbiotic relationship (like oxpeckers and the animals they live on/with). Suggestions for further information? Margaret Yatsevitch (Phinney)

Comments: The above texts is probably one of the most well explained ever in all home pages. Oltome (elephant) is my favorite because he has no interest on my livestock. This was only before KWS. kakuta

Comments: great site! Need pics of Maasi women neck wear and ornamentation! Fave animal... Kunguru (house crow-not on your site :) ). Mostly warthogs because of their interesting faces. So many neat bumps and tusks. I sculpt in bronze and always have meant to make a warthog or a boar. Also, the standard loves, lions (any of the wild cats) crocs (lovely scales to sculpt), and dik-diks because they are so small, hard to find and have neat always twitching noses.

Comments: I have thought about going to Africa as a volunteer, working with animals. But i have not found any place where they need someone. I had hoped there maybe was something at this page. It's a great page, with lots of useful information! My favorite African animal must be the gorilla. They are just amazing. Their size, power, the way they treat their infants and the way they are able to use/make tools. And the silverbacks are just beautiful. I really hope I get the opportunity to go to Africa and maybe see one alive! Not just on tv.

Comments: I have just returned from a 10 week overland trip with Kumuka from Nairobi to Harare. We saw plenty of most of the well known animals except my favorite, the leopard. On our first day's game viewing in the Mara we saw elephants, all manner of gazelle, hyenas, cheetah and lions. I also went on a balloon ride at dawn over the plains with a full english breakfast after whilst being watched by a hyena & a topi - a most awesome experience. I will be going back very soon I hope and in a different season - Oct rather than Feb - which I am looking forward to.
